Global Girl Leading: A Celebration for International Day of the Girl, October 2020

Mulberry School for Girls hosted an online conference alongside Women of the World to celebrate International Day of the Girl 2020.

Schools from the UK, Malaysia, Singapore and Israel took part in the conference. Students had the chance to submit videos discussing issues they were passionate about, which were shown as part of a ‘Speakers’ Corner’ session.

Panel discussions focused on “Activism in an ever-changing world” and “Women and Girls in Arts, Media and Sport”. The conference also featured discussions on the empowerment of women and girls across the world.
